Krissy & Bryce at Brunner Family Forest Preserve & Buffalo Park
I was so excited when Krissy called us to photograph her wedding. We have known Krissy since she was a dancer at the same ballet studio where our little girls were dancing. We met her at a recital the year she graduated from high school. We ended up shooting our first creative portrait session with her, and after that I went on to shoot creative portraits with dancers across the country. But it all started with Krissy.
We actually had two engagement sessions with Krissy and Bryce. The first session was in January. We wanted to get some cute shots with Krissy and Bryce’s dog that they could use for Save the Date cards. Shooting in two seasons also gives them a chance to have more variety in their engagement photographs.
This was the second part of Krissy and Bryce’s engagement portraits. This time we worked at the Brunner Family Forest Preserve. I love the red barn there and the wooden bridge. We also took picture with the Fox River in the background in Buffalo Park. Krissy and Bryce also showed their Redbird pride with Illinois State spritwear for some of their pictures.
